CenturyLink Rolls Out LG Branded Streaming Player

Broadband provider CenturyLink was the latest player to jump into the live tv streaming landscape last week.

During the roll out announcement CenturyLink announced they would be available on many popular streaming devices including smartphones, tables, PC, Mac and Roku. With more to be announced soon.

CenturyLink has also partnered with electronics giant LG to launch a streaming player of their own, called CenturyLink Player.

Here is a look at the specs from CenturyLink:

You can purchase the player from their site for $89.99 (shipping included), and sign up for a free 7 day trial of their service at the same time.

Since the player is made by LG it should be a quality device and it includes Android TV, so it wouldn’t necessarily be a useless brick should you decide you don’t like CenturyLink Stream after your free trial.
